Break away from your daily routine and experience the ancient discipline of yoga in the magical Riebeek valley. Claudia Gurwitz began practising yoga in 1993. Her fascination with Yoga Therapy as a means of making yoga inclusive to all students, results from her own back challenges. Iyengar Yoga thus provides a base for Claudia’s practice as it encompasses the depth and detail required for therapeutic process.
Claudia innovatively blends Hatha Yoga approaches, combining precision and alignment with breath, movement and flow. She uses hands on adjustments to enhance each student’s experience of asana (posture). All students can enjoy these weekly classes, absorbing their yoga practice more holistically into their lifestyle. In this way, Yoga helps us to find lightness and grounding in our lives. Claudia’s classes are creative, fun and active. Weekend Workshops are organised a few times a year with both national and international guest teachers. |
Please remember it is Claudia’s policy that lack of funds should never prevent you from coming to yoga. An arrangement can always be made. I sincerely wish to accommodate everyone who wants to do this practice!
