Welcome to the Riebeek Valley
Just an hours’ drive from Cape Town, you find the picturesque Riebeek Valley, consisting of Riebeek Kasteel, Riebeek West, Riebeeksrivier and Hermon.
This little piece of paradise, is nestled on the slopes of the majestic Kasteelberg Mountain, surrounded by wheat-fields and vineyards. The rural atmosphere of this quaint valley, coupled with the beauty of the area, is the perfect getaway from city life, with the quirky & friendly locals adding an interesting flavour.
The Riebeek Valley, and in particular Riebeek Kasteel, is often referred to as “the best kept secret of the Western Cape” and "Franschhoek 15 years ago", and is home to some of South Africa’s most famous painters, attracted by the picturesque surroundings, aesthetic beauty and rural atmosphere.
With a wide range of accommodation to choose from, numerous and varied eateries, wineries and olive products, plus an opportunity for a bit retail therapy, you will be hard pressed to leave.
BIG shout out to KFC in Malmesbury, Western Cape!
As many of you know the Riebeek Valley have been having issues with protests for the last few days.
Our SAPS officers and SAPS support officers from other areas have worked tirelessly and around the clock to try and maintain peace, law and order.
KFC in Malmesbury donated about 30 food packs for the weary officers today, along with their support and good wishes.
THANK you KFC for your generosity and for supporting the Riebeek Valley, SAPS and the Community during this difficult time.
